Headshots vs. Story Sessions
So whats the difference between a headshot session and a story session? First of all, headshot sessions focus solely on headshots, meaning they are up close and personal shots, framed from the waist up and higher. They can be traditional or more relaxed and lifestyle in nature. They are shot typically at one location, and are much shorter in length. These sessions are for business professionals and industry professionals (such as models or actors) who only need a few shots for their portfolio, website, or marketing materials.
Branding sessions, on the other hand, are around 3 to 6 hours and are MUCH more in depth. I take shots of a variety of poses, backgrounds, and themes. These sessions, which we call Story Sessions, tell stories about you and your business in order to connect and engage with leads and customers on social media.
